Each October, more than 1,000 polar bears descend upon this small town in anticipation of the refreezing of Hudson Bay. Discover unspoiled landscapes, clean air, pure water, and the “Land of Nanuk”—the Great White Bear. You’ll have two opportunities on board the famous Tundra Buggy to seek out these unique bears playing, rolling in the snow, and even inspecting the buggy. In addition, visit Churchill Northern Studies Centre for a dogsledding program and Parks Canada Interpretive Centre to learn more about the history, wildlife, and culture of the Churchill area.
