" After graduating from Fordham University, I lived in New York City until I inherited a small inn that my grandmother had owned in my hometown of Daytona Beach, Florida. I became immersed in restoring and running it, but after working 24 hour days for 10 years, I was ready for a change. I told a friend I wanted a job where I could travel. He said, "You should do what my ex-wife is doing. She's a Tour Director." That began my wonderful new career over 20 years ago."

" During a summer in Ireland when I was 12, I was bitten by the "travel bug." I lived in Europe and became a Tour Director after graduating with a degree in European Languages. I am never as alive as when I am on the road. The haunting echo of a saxophone on a New Orleans street, the heady evening perfume of Jasmine in bloom, the sweet taste of a beignet, and the joyous "AA-eeeee!" of a Cajun dancer all need to be experienced... observing them from afar is not enough."

" My interest in the national parks began as a child on summer vacations in Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. In college, I studied Botany, Ichthyology, Mammology, and Ornithology, and I began working in Yellowstone as a summer seasonal guide years ago. I have also worked in Sequoia, the Everglades, and Alaska as a naturalist guide. Whether it's beachcombing in Florida, birding in the Everglades, or hiking in the Tetons, as long as I'm in nature, I'm where I want to be."
