I have been travelling with Cosmos and Globus since 2013 and have completed more than ten tours. What appeals to me most, are the itineraries, which are wholesome with the most important things to do and places to see. No time is wasted, but the tours are not rushed either with free time conveniently woven into the itineraries. The hotels used are always nice, with particular care given for improvements. The Tour Directors and local guides are truly passionate about their work. The coaches they use are so comfortable. I find the drivers to be knowledgeable and safe. My 2025 journeys include tours to Transylvania and New Zealand. I am looking forward to more trips to see the world.

It was a dream come true to be able to visit the beautiful countries of Kenya and Tanzania with Cosmos. The tour was very well organized enabling us to see a lot of different animals across Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Ngorongoro, Serengeti etc. The different types of lodging were very comfortable and provided all required amenities including varieties of local food. The trip to Peru and Equador organized by Cosmos in May 2024 will live forever in our memories. The archaeological sites for sight-seeing made it meaningful. The tour Director Maritzsa was excellent, warm, and empathetic. Her organizational skills were admirable and brilliantly efficient. Carlos, our guide in Peru was very well informed, knowledgeable and with a fantastic sense of humour which made all our sight-seeing a pleasurable experience. Carlos’s concern for us senior citizens made it possible to push ourselves with convenience at all the places he accompanied us. He was gentle, gave us time, and enough resting breaks. We could do the visits to important sites at a pace that was comfortable, not hurried. The hotels were excellent in terms of rooms and located in downtown, with easy access to eateries and shopping. Food was very good with options were given. The coach was extremely comfortable with seasoned drivers. Thank you, Cosmos, for giving us this wonderful experience. Undeniably all Cosmos trips we have taken so far have given us different and memorable experiences, but Peru was out of the world in every sense of the word.

The inclusions of Bizen where pottery is made as per Japan’s traditional method was a trip back in time seeing wood fired furnaces and hand-made clay objects. Our tour covering Denmark, Norway and Sweden with Cosmos in May was our first time with a group tour. We have not regretted our decision to go with them one bit! From offering world-class guide and coach services to having all hotels arranged, it has been one of our best experiences so far. We are a family of 3 and throughout the tour, from the check-in in the hotel, arrangement of rooms, food services to the ambience of the hotel, we were always so well taken care and offered best-in-class services. The right balance of group time versus private time on tour was a high point for us. We were able to experience the local cuisine, find places on our own and understand the countries much better. We happened to be in Norway on May 17, the constitution day!! What a city to be in to witness the revelry and parade - Bergen! That will remain a core memory!!

I had a really great experience during my travel with Cosmos to Italy. Italy is famous for Roman history which still can be felt when one sees the Roman Forum and other historical places. Most of all, the guided tour of Cosmos was good value for the money. My experience with the Cosmos tour directors was amazing. They were well-informed, very knowledgeable, friendly, and very service-oriented. We were a group of 46 people and we traveled like a family! Hotels were excellent, food was good, and the optional excursions were real must experiences.

An excellent 13 days spent with Cosmos touring Italy. Though I wish it could have stretched for at least 18/20 days. A varied itinerary which was full of history, food, culture, nature and FUN. Scenic Switzerland by TrainClocking 4661 miles through 19 states and 4 time zones in 24 days while staying at 16 hotels summarizes our epic coast-to-coast US road trip, including a visit to the Canadian Niagara. The lengthy itinerary made us nervous initially. But everything went incredibly well from the moment we met Althia and Jeff, our tour guide and driver, in New York City until we had to say goodbye to them in Los Angeles. The grandeur of the canyons and the waterfalls, the opulence of the big cities, the natural diversity of the national parks, the distinctiveness of the small towns, the experiences of a wide variety of foods, the enjoyment of events and shows, and many more things had been happily crossed off our individual bucket lists in the interim. All the hotels, as they say, were “conveniently located” and had either a bus or a train station at walking distance. Highlights of MoroccoThis was my fourth venture with Cosmos. A great applause for our Tour Director John Shaw. Overall the transportation was great (new phone charging facilities added on the bus). Accommodations all very good, except at Fez. Vegetarian food was limiting. But the outstanding part of this most memorial tour was without a doubt our tour director JOHN SHAW. He was passionate, knowledgeable, extremely competent and honestly cared about all of his clients. It would not have been the same trip without him. Not forgetting to mention the small gesture of the Sangria and introducing us to Tapas. He went beyond and above his duties to keep us entertained. I had traveled with Cosmos to the Canadian Rockies and Alaska Cruise in 2015 and it was a marvelous experience. This time too, Cosmos not only lived up to my expectations but surpassed them. The itinerary was very well planned and we actually had an "in-depth" tour of Britain and Ireland - a real feel of the culture, the history and legends, opportunities to taste the local cuisine and, of course, experience, at leisure, the spectacular landscape of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.There were many tour highlights like Driving along the Wild Atlantic coast of Ireland, listening to our Tour Director, Tara, telling us stories of Glencoe and The Culloden battle in Scotland and so many other stories and legends. Climbing the basalt steps at Giant's Causeway, N. Ireland. Almost getting blown away on the sea beach at Tramore, Ireland. Drinking soup straight from a bowl and eating with hands, while listening to traditional Irish songs at the banquet at Bunratty Castle, Ireland. Having cream tea at Stradford on Avon after visiting Shakespeare's birthplace. Going for a Ghost Tour at Edinburgh and much more.

The Best of Britain & Ireland Our recent COSMOS trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe was smooth, hassle free and at a leisurely pace that suited us perfectly. We met people from four continents, Europe, Australia, USA and India: a wonderful experience that 18 unknown people from 4 continents met on the fifth continent for a tour and had great fun. The stay and sights of Cape Town were well balanced. It was a heady feeling to be at the southernmost tip of Africa at Cape Point and at the Cape of Good Hope. Robben island visit made us come out in admiration of Mandela. The hotels were neat and tidy with good food. The Shiduli Lodge at Hoedspruit was an unparalleled treasure. We got to see wild-life, Game as it is called in SA, at extremely close quarters. A pride of Lions, one male, two female and two cubs, lunching on a freshly hunted Giraffe or a Cheetah lunching on a freshly hunted impala raised goosebumps. We got to see all the big 5 as they are called, Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Rhino and Elephant. The huge Victoria Falls was extremely awe inspiring, an experience like no other! All in all, a wonderful experience!

The Cosmos tour to Japan, our first, came as a pleasant surprise. A big shout out to our Tour Director Yuki. He was excellent - amiable, knowledgeable, always helpful and spoke good English - a big help in Japan where the locals have a poor grasp of the language. The hotels where we were put up by Cosmos were good and had decent sized rooms - an issue that is often a problem in Japan. The transportation and logistics were very good too.
We would be remiss if we did not mention here that we were overwhelmed by the helpfulness and kindness of the local populace. Although language was an issue, it never really impinged on our ability to move around freely. Visiting places of interest, using google maps and google translate was fairly easy. We were even brave enough on arrival at Narita airport, to use public transport to reach our hotel. On the odd occasion when google maps got it wrong, the locals were beyond helpful, using sign language and even escorting us to our destinations on occasion.

It was logistically arranged very well and went of seamlessly. Our Tour Director, Mr. Zecca, was amazing and so polite. He truly made our trip very special. This was our first trip post COVID and we had lot of trepidations ...but once we were on the Tour all our worries were put to rest, though there were 47 of us at no point did we feel it was crowded we were each comfortable in our own space. The tour was perfectly paced not too hectic with enough free time for us on own. the tour director was extremely organised and always so very helpful.We thoroughly enjoyed the golden triangle cities & also made some great friends on tour too. Italy's BestStarting in lively Amsterdam & ending in picturesque Bergen is the best way to experience Scandinavia. Envisioning a clog being made in front of my eyes was nothing compared to actually seeing it myself. Hidden jewels like the Stave Churches enroute were like cherry on the cake. Stalheim, a historic hotel with its old world charm, is a must stay on any itinerary when visiting Scandinavia – not to mention the best sit-down dinner on the entire tour. Bergen is what dreams are made of with the Flam Train, Sognefjord Cruise & Viking Village. The entire trip came to life only due to the excellent efforts of the Tour Director & Tour Driver.

Prague, Vienna & BudapestThank you very much for offering us such a great tour. I don’t know from where to start about the tour experience. It was like dream come true for us. From Stratford Avon to York to Edinburgh to Liverpool. Everything was so amazingly beautiful. We especially loved the visit to St. Andrews, the Home of Golf.! We loved the beautiful area with all the shops and purchased golf hats!!! How could we forget the Edinburgh Military Tattoo Show. Specially when Indian dancers were dancing in the tune of " Indiawalle".. Indian Navy was doing the march-past in front of twelve thousand people. It was such a proud moment for us. While in Edinburgh we had purchased famous Scottish scarf and souvenirs!! Glasgow, Inverness, Lake District, Highlands were equally, amazing. Absolutely loved Chester, Bath, Wales...one of the prettiest cities we have ever seen.
All in all, a wonderful trip and perhaps the biggest bonus was our Tour Director, who was brilliant with his knowledge and expertise in everything UK. we thoroughly enjoyed his history lessons and charming personality. I would rate our tour director (Michael) a 5 star - He was an engaging speaker, congenial, always helpful and made the whole trip a delightful experience. His knowledge, of history especially, and his way of telling us about our surroundings made it so interesting and refreshing. Our coach driver Derek was fabulous.
I will absolutely recommend my trip with Cosmos and Globus. We had a fabulous trip and didn't experience any problems at all. We were very pleased with our hotels and fortunately, for us, a lovely, diverse group of folks on the tour.
